Guiding Principles

  We Believe:

  • First, children learn to be children of God.
  • It is important for children to know Jesus loves them, is always with them and forgives them.
  •   A loving, respectful relationship between children, staff, and families is vital for success.
  •  When working with children, it is important to be a partner with and supportive of the whole family- not just the child.
  •  It is important to provide positive guidance in helping children make smart choices by learning through play, regarding feelings and behaviors so they can develop positive self-esteem and self-control.
  •  Open communication between families and staff is important to effectively partner with families.
  •  Children need a safe, clean, healthy environment in which to learn and grow; consistency and routine is important for children’s growth and development
  • Academics are a vital part in the development of the whole child, including the following areas:

- Health and Physical Development

- Social and Emotional Development

- Language Development and Communication

- Approaches to Learning

- Cognition and General Knowledge
